Our Analysis
We find the Life Fitness X1 Go Elliptical Cross Trainer to be a well constructed and durable machine that is perfect for those people wanting to get a good home workout. It has a variety of different workout programs that helps to keep user motivated and is quiet and comfortable to use. We do find that we are somewhat disappointed in the warranty for this cross trainer. While there is a nice 3 year warranty on parts, there is only a 1 year warranty on labor, which makes the 3 years on parts somewhat useless as few people are going to load a 215 pound machine into their car to take it in for repairs. The labor warranty should at least be as long as the warranty on parts for the price of this machine.
Other than the issue with the warranty we find the X1 to be a good buy for users of all fitness levels.

Life Fitness put a lot of thought into making an elliptical that is comfortable to use. This machine operates quietly allowing users to listen to music or watch television while working out, It has a reading rack, oversized pedals and low step on making it easy to get on this elliptical and to get off. The ergo grip handlebars also provides security for users when working out.
