Our Analysis

The Horizon Syros Elliptical is a budget elliptical so we don’t expect this machine to have all the bells and whistles you are likely to find on those higher priced machine. However, this does seem to be a well built elliptical that will meet the needs of a number of people who are looking for an elliptical with a small footprint and that will provide them with a good workout. While the shorter stride length may pose a challenge to many people, we still find it a great starter machine.

Comfort

If you are looking for an elliptical with all those special features that will increase your comfort while working out, then this elliptical many not be for you. It does not have a music port nor a cooling fan. However, it does have oversized adjustable foot pedals and a low step on height which are actually some nice features to find in a budget elliptical.

Reviews

Most people who purchased this elliptical did so because it is highly affordable even for those users on a strict budget. This elliptical is easy to use as operation is simple and not overly technical. It provides a good low impact workout for a large number of users and helps them to shed pounds or increase their endurance and stamina.

Complaints

There really aren’t any real complaints about the Syros as most users knew what they getting were they purchased it. It does however have a couple of drawbacks worth considering. First, the rather small stride could make this elliptical uncomfortable to use for taller users and the lack of actual fitness programs may leave some users feeling bored within a short period of time.

While the Horizon Syros elliptical may not be the ideal piece of home workout equipment for all users it’s rather low and affordable price and ease of use, should make it ideal for a large number of users.
